Dear Hampton Waters Owners and Members,
In follow up to our recent annual meeting, please find a brief notice of important information for your reference. We were pleased by the incredible annual meeting turnout. With over 70 people in attendance, this was surely a record breaker. Minutes will be posted shortly. You will find the 2016 financial statement posted to this website in “Minutes” - 2016. It was fantastic to see so many people who are interested in our special community. We thank everyone for attending and for your thoughtful comments and feedback.
The results are in! As per the bylaws, households voting in person receive two votes. Results below reflect two votes per household. Based on tallied paper ballots, the following members were re-elected to the Board for an additional two year term:
Barbara Strauss, 94 votes (Director)
John O’Rourke, 88 votes (Vice-President)
Arthur Beckenstein, 88 votes (Director)
Peter De Staebler, 88 votes (Director)
Additionally, Kerri Rosen a new resident member received 28 votes and Cori Manson received 2 votes. The Board appreciates your continued support and is glad to see new interest from those nominated.
At the annual meeting, the following dues were approved:
Improved lot - $150.00/year
Unimproved lot - $100.00/year

The Board is incredibly proud of our new website for the benefit of the entire community. We appreciate the positive feedback thus far and encourage continued feedback. As discussed at the annual meeting, this is the official website of Hampton Waters. Please spend some time on the website – you will learn a lot about our storied history and useful links and functionality. We thank Arthur Beckenstein for the incredible photography. Additionally, Board member email addresses are new and summarized below. Please use these addresses going forward for all email communication. You may also use the "Contact" page on the website for communication. Prior email addresses are no longer being used. Please update your address books. We also encourage you to update your contact information including your email through the links on the website under “Membership Form.” In an effort to streamline member communication and save on mailing costs, we will be emailing notices to those with emails on record and only using postage for those who do not have access to a computer or who have not provided their email.
As discussed at the annual meeting, the Board agreed to table the bylaws vote to allow for more time to provide feedback. With that in mind, the Board would appreciate any remaining comments prior to July 31, 2017. A separate bylaws only meeting will be scheduled for sometime thereafter. We will certainly provide notice and appreciate constructive feedback. We also appreciate the overwhelming early support from those who voted to approve the bylaws at the meeting.

Mark your calendars! The Third Annual Yard Sale will be held on Saturday July 29th (Sunday July 30th Rain Date). The Summer Party has been scheduled for Saturday August 26th (Sunday August 27th Rain Date). Details will be forthcoming.
