President - John O’Rourke
Elected as Vice President in 2015, John O’Rourke has been a resident of Hampton Waters for 17 years. Originally from Boston, MA, he has lived on Cape Cod, and in Los Angeles, Baltimore, and New York City. He has a long history in the NYC restaurant business, and now spends most of his time on house renovation projects, landscaping, his film collection, his love of cooking and entertaining, and with community activities. He is proud to be working on the Hampton Waters board with other forward thinking, active members.
Vice President - Barbara Strauss
My husband and I have been part-time residents of East Hampton for the last 20 plus years. We divide our time between our home in Hampton Waters and in NYC.
Treasurer - Guido Auen
After serving in government and international organizations for most of his professional legal career, Guido now divides his time between New York City and East Hampton. Apart from being the Treasurer of our association, Guido is an active member of several business organizations and charities. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and dogs in East Hampton where you might spot him gardening around his house, which is one of his favorite activities.
Secretary - Scott O’Neil
Scott has lived full time in the Hamptons for 23 years with her husband and three children. She teaches culinary arts at the Hayground School in Bridgehampton.
– Directors –
Arthur had a successful career as a graphic designer and art director. He has designed sales promotions, corporate identities, logos, book designs, and publications. His current passion is photography. He has been on and off the HWPOA board for years, and has always had an interest in promoting Hampton Waters, and bringing our neighbors together as a community.
Antonia Kousoulas, Esq.
I have been a homeowner in this community since 1997. Our home Hampton Waters was my son Alex’s first home. My family and I have spent nearly every weekend and every summer in East Hampton, where we have made enduring connections. When I am not gardening, entertaining friends, or binge watching HGTV, I spend my time running on nearby trails. On a good year, I train for the Hamptons Marathon. And, on off years, I run the Bridgehampton half marathon. I have completed six half marathons, and barring any other injuries, I plan to run my fifth marathon in Southampton this September. I have practiced law in New York for over 27 years. I am a seasoned federal and state court litigator in the areas of employment law and civil rights.
